I believe in the power of storytelling.
I trained and worked as a stage manager, coordinating large teams of designers, technicians, and performers. I oversaw the consolidation of radically different ideas from powerful (and often conflicting) personalities into cohesive design, while being the voice for the human element - the performers - and their needs and expectations. This would grow into the essential element of my design philosophy:
Provide a voice for those that are not in the room.
When I’m not designing:
You might find me…
At a local museum, zoo, theme park, or aquarium
Running a Dungeons and Dragons game for my friends
Cheering on the Chicago Red Stars
Reading a Stuart Turton mystery novel
I’m learning about…
Advanced hand-embroidery techniques
